Elisa (born Elisa Toffoli on 19 December 1977) is an Italian singer and solo artist, writing and performing within several genres, notably rock, blues, soul and ambient. Her voice is considered one of the best of the Italian music scene, particularly recognisable by her high-pitched falsetto. She is also the only major Italian singer to write and record songs in English.
