Marla won the first ever New Mexico Hispanic Association Talent Show, which allowed her to record her first solo CD, made up of classic Spanish Ballads. That year she also performed at the NM Music Awards with Master of Ceremonies George Lopez.
Since then she has released a second Spanish CD with great response from Spanish Radio. With two Spanish Language CDs under her belt she was ready to achieve her next goal, something she had dreamed for a long time, recording a R&B album.
