I've spent the weekend down on Hayling Island getting photos of myself taken on the beach and in the local pleasure arcade. I felt like a superstar and bit the head off a child as an homage to the rock gods. These pictures will go around all the major networks as my assault on the charts starts. Like a politician, I will be shaking hands and kissing babies at a local shopping center near you soon. My Kinda People.
The album has been mastered at the Brixton Arts Space, by a kind gentleman called Mick. He knew what he was doing and we were all happy to kick back and muse about old times over a beer, while he steered the good ship Monkey towards an aural harbour of soft, pulsating, beats. We finished past midnight and were kicked out into the cold, Brixton, night to wind our way home with a warm fuzzy feeling in a guts (which could have been the dodgey beer).
What happens next? Well, wonder no more....I've given my friends a copy of the newly mastered album. They have promised they will listen to it this time and hopefully they will join me in the Monkey, Don't, Live Experience. If not I'm fucked, and will be playing acoustic guitar on stage, naked, with a Nintendo Gameboy strapped to my bollocks to try to drum up interest.
