From the liner notes: "In 2006 we (baSix) got the idea to do a show where we paid tribute to our own musical heroes. Who did we listen to when we were kids? Who was on the posters above our beds when we were teenagers, and who inspired us to become the professional musicians in the end? Many brilliant artists, throughout the history of pop and rock were mentioned, but of course we couldn't bring them all into our show without making it a very long night!
After making those difficult choices, we hope our audience will enjoy some nice memories drawn from their own experiences during the long history of pop and rock music. We also hope that our own visions of these classics - through our arrangements and performances - will cause the listener to discover new facets in songs they've known and loved for years."
